Our mission is to ensure a bright and successful future for the mortgage industry in Connecticut by preparing its members for leadership roles through education sessions, networking opportunities, collaborative and community events. The CMBA Young Mortgage Professionals are dedicated to securing the strongest tomorrow possible.
The Basics Our organization represents many different mortgage related companies from banks to law firms. We hold monthly meetings that bring us together to network and collaborate. Our round table discussions focus on topics making an impact on our industry today and how we can overcome challenges we face within our own organizations and beyond. For our regular Mentor Minute, we invite mentors from throughout the industry to guide us in the expansion of our careers.
Charitable Involvement We are also involved in our communities; our members partner with various non-profits to support their community efforts.
Honoring Rising Stars Each year, we present our CMBA Barbara Goodrich Rising Star Award at the annual CMBA Installation Dinner. The award is given to someone who exemplifies the values of a true rising star in the industry. Winners receive a plaque, free admission to events throughout the year, and a spotlight in our quarterly newsletter. Know someone who you feel possess these qualities and deserves this award? Please fill out this form and return to Denise Derosier denise@cmba.org.
